Bank holiday today in Italy.
Woke this morning to sunshine, had our breakfast out side then Derek tried to repair the broken wing mirror! Until we get to a garage to buy a new one. Bit of a make do and mend.Had a bit of a lazy afternoon then went for a walk to the bank and along the lake front, bought some little cakes,then to the supermarket for some provisions then back to the site for tea.Sat out for a few hours as the showers had stopped.
Ha HA Ha unfortunately it does tend to rain and be cloudy in the mountains of italy, I think it is because of the mountains. We stayed at lake Garda the sun would only appear in the afternoon after a morning of cloud and rain. There is a theme park at lake Garda (small in comparison to Disney).
ReplyDeleteTry some farinata it is usually made at a bakery that does pizza also watch out though it gives you wind lol (just thinking about your Motorhome being filled with farts lol)
Have fun and eat at the places the locals eat at usually called Trattoria they serve basic but amazing food and wine. Enjoy xxx
Thanks for the tips Paula, we love it here even with the rain! If you can think of anymore tips would love to here them.We are moving to the south of Lake Maggiore today, have booked to see the last supper in Milan on the 7th May then heading towards Como. Ciao xxxx
